It’s been a trying few weeks globally, with freak weather impacting on communities in both hemispheres. While Europe and North America cope with snow storms and unusually low temperatures, Australia is dealing with floods and forest fires.
Past experience has shown that where forklift operations are impacted, they have bounced back with resilience. More than that, the materials handling sector is always among the first to step up and offer a helping hand to the community through humanitarian and charity actions - and there’s no doubt the current challenges will again bring out the best in everyone in our industry.
As we go about our efforts, we might remember the words of an ‘80s TV show: “Let’s be careful out there!”
