Inside Contact the Forkliftaction team
There’s more positive business news this week, with one of the world’s largest manufacturers reporting a significant growth in orders and revenue. KION saw a 20% revenue hike in 2011 as the global market bounced back. Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe, heavy handling equipment maker Manitex International is also buoyed by growth, and its main challenge is meeting demand. Of course, “one swallow does not a summer make”, and it may be too early to officially celebrate a turnaround, but we are seeing more positive stories than negative ones, so it’s clear we’re headed in the right direction.

"We store their vehicles at our homes, we have to put up with noise from in-boot deliveries through the night, what would happen if every engineer left his van at their local depot? Gridlock, I think, and as for having to clock on and off at work has a certain person forgot that we all have trackers anyway?".
stackerman, United Kingdom
"I am just interested to know if engineers like the concept of through-the-night deliveries to your vans. Also, do any of you feel it would benefit you, but your company hasn't put it in place.".
