Yale's new ERC2.2-3.5VG2 forkliftYale Lift Truck Technologies has launched its ERC2.2-3.5VG2 electric cushion tyre forklift, an update of its flagship counterbalance ERC-VG2 machine.
The ERC2.2-3.5VG2 has a capacity of between 2,200kg to 3,500kg and is designed for high-intensity warehousing applications, and offers increased efficiency, visibility and configurability, according to Yale.
It adds the ERC-VG2 series offers up to 65% faster lift speeds and 20% lower energy consumption than previous models, according to VDI cycle testing, for extended runtimes to match demanding duty cycles.
Yale says the new forklift features the largest through-mast window in its class, which is 34% larger than the previous model, for improved forward visibility.
The manufacturer adds the configurability of the ERC-VG2 series gives customers the flexibility to choose a solution tailored to their application, duty cycle, and performance goals.
The ERC-VG2 is also available with a range of battery options, including lead-acid, thin plate pure lead and factory-integrated lithium-ion power.
The upgraded forklift also offers clear sightlines and a near-zero turn radius, while the operator’s cabin is available with suspended and air ride seat options to reduce shock and vibration, and well as intuitive controls.
“Supply chains and warehouse operations run on tight margins, and are pushed to squeeze as much productivity as possible from scarce labour resources,” explains Lauren Grady, product manager, Yale Lift Truck Technologies.
“The ERC-VG2 series pushes electric forklifts forward with key improvements that help operations do more with less and keep total cost of ownership in check.”
