Yale Lift Truck Technologies has hosted a dealer showcase at its upgraded Frankfurt Experience Centre in Mörfelden-Walldorf, Germany, which included an exclusive preview of the Yale Route Runner, a materials handling solution designed to optimise direct-to-store deliveries (DSD).

The invite-only event saw dealers from across the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and Northern Europe regions explore new technologies and share knowledge about the sector.

The Route Runner is a 3,000 lbs. (1,360kg) capacity electric walkie pallet truck with a nested detachable 1,200 lb. (544kg) capacity motorised sled and specialised lightweight pallets. 

Yale says the two-in-one system cuts manual handling by up to 50%.

Also highlighted at the event was the recently launched Yale MXLG series of lithium-ion forklifts, for indoor and outdoor handling requirements, with a capacity up to 7T. 

The showcase event also focused on Yale Series N internal combustion engine lift trucks, designed with a choice of four configuration options to match different applications and optimise performance.
