The Traigo80 is suitable for heavy-duty applications
Toyota Material Handling Europe has launched the Traigo80, an electric counterbalance forklift for heavy-duty applications.
Introduced at LogiMAT, the forklift is available in five versions, from 3.5 to 5.0 tons. All are equipped with an 80V battery, as well as a compact and standard chassis.
According to Toyota, the Traigo80 forklift is reliable in difficult environments, such as beverage production and ideal for handling multiple pallets simultaneously.
Available with several energy solutions – including lithium-ion, lead-acid or fuel cell – the forklift is designed to fulfil the requirements of both the occasional and frequent user. This capacity is particularly useful in fleet operations and intensive applications, as it ensures strong performance and long operating times.
Equipped with an 80V battery, the forklift offers lower energy consumption, which is ideal for efficient, high-frequency operations.
Designed with the driver in mind, the Traigo80 forklift also includes advanced ergonomics. Apart from a full-floating driver compartment and more legroom, operators also benefit from low noise and reduced vibration, as well as smooth regenerative braking and acceleration, and excellent visibility.
Toyota is able to tailor the Traigo80 according to specific requirements. Options include an interactive colour touchscreen display with intuitive controls, a new armrest with three types of levers, and an optional glass roof.
“In material handling, true performance lies in the balance between raw strength and refined control,” says Jose Maria Gener, vice president sales & marketing at Toyota Material Handling Europe. “Our new electric forklift Traigo80 delivers both.”
