São Paulo, January 2026 – From April 14 to 16, 2026, Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo, will host Intermodal South America, celebrating its 30th edition as the leading meeting point for the logistics, intralogistics, cargo transportation, technology, and foreign trade sectors in Latin America.

With an expected audience of 49,000 professionals and more than 500 exhibiting brands, Intermodal reinforces its role as a business catalyst by connecting supply and demand, fostering strategic partnerships, and anticipating innovative solutions that are reshaping the global supply chain.

Since its inception, the event has aimed to integrate all transport modes including road, rail, waterway, and air, as well as terminals, ports, airports, logistics operators, shippers, and service providers.

Over three decades, the event has followed the major cycles of Brazilian logistics: economic liberalization and port modernization; the professionalization of integrated logistics; the expansion of infrastructure concessions and public-private partnerships; supply chain digitalization; the growth of e-commerce and intralogistics; and the ESG agenda focused on decarbonization and energy efficiency, among others.

Exclusive Content in a New Format

In addition to the exhibition area, the 4th Interlog Summit will debut a new formatand expand its international reach. With simultaneous translation available for all panels and presentations, the summit will run across all three days of the event and will feature two concurrent congresses: the Intermodal International Congress and the 28th CNL – National Logistics Conference, organized by Abralog.

The central theme, “Connections that Move Brazil: Logistics and Infrastructure Toward Global Leadership,” reflects the sector’s growing maturity and the need to integrate transport modes, public policies, innovation, and long-term vision.

The confirmed agenda addresses topics such as overcoming historical infrastructure bottlenecks; integrating logistics corridors and transport modes;
advancing cabotage and road-cabotage; transforming ports into more digital and sustainable global hubs; the impact of major port investments; and intralogistics challenges amid e-commerce demand volatility.

Confirmed speakers include Luciana Costa, Director of Infrastructure, Energy Transition and Climate Change at BNDES; Eduard Moyà Barberà, Product Manager, Container Division at the Port of Barcelona; Claudio Pena, Supply Chain Manager at Mondelez Brazil; Anderson Pomini, CEO of the Santos Port Authority; and Juliana Michelin, Operations Director at Mercado Livre.

Strong Market Momentum: Logistics and Intralogistics

The backdrop for Intermodal 2026 is one of consistent growth. According to projections by Cobli, the Brazilian freight and logistics market is
expected to grow from USD 104.79 billion in 2024 to USD 129.34 billion by 2029, driven mainly by the expansion of e-commerce, infrastructure modernization, and increased investment in technology and automation.

In the logistics and industrial real estate segment, the sector closed 2025 at its strongest level in a decade, with a national warehouse vacancy rate of 8 percent, a historic low, and even lower rates in regions near major urban centers.

At the same time, logistics is advancing rapidly within the ESG agenda. The adoption of artificial intelligence, real-time data analytics, automation, and low-carbon fuels is already translating into measurable efficiency gains, cost reductions, and risk mitigation.

Examples include the use of AI in cabotage through the StarConnect tool by Aliança Navegação e Logística, part of the Maersk Group, and the expansion of FedEx’s electric fleet in Brazil, aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.

For Fernando D’Ascola, Head of Infrastructure and Technology at Informa Markets, the event organizer, the 30th edition of Intermodal symbolizes this new stage of Brazilian logistics.

“Intermodal 2026 will be even more innovative, connected, and international. Participating in the event means being at the center of the strategic decisions that will shape the future of logistics in South America, strengthening global visibility, expanding networking with the market’s leading players, and closely following essential debates on multimodality, ESG, intralogistics, and foreign trade.”
