STILL's EXV-CB iGO pallet truckSTILL has launched its first automated counterbalance high lift pallet truck as the latest addition to its portfolio of iGo automated materials handling products.
The EXV-CB iGO pallet truck has a load capacity of 1.4T, a storage height of 3.8m and a maximum speed of 7.2km/h.
It features a multi-stage safety system with laser scanners and sensors ensuring pedestrian protection and high process reliability, including in mixed working environments.
STILL says the pallet truck can be flexibly integrated into existing processes and used in either stand-alone mode or in conjunction with a warehouse management system, with the integrated VDA 5050 interface making integration into existing systems and connection to other solutions straightforward and scalable.
“Many intralogistics applications present companies with the challenge of implementing flexible goods transfers using vehicle concepts that are as efficient and economical as possible,” STILL states. “The EXV-CB iGo was developed to meet these requirements.
“Its cantilever forks enable it to pick up a wide variety of load carriers and lift loads directly from the floor, making the vehicle highly versatile, regardless of how transfer points are designed.
“This is made possible by the integrated counterweight and recessed chassis, which ensure high stability.”
STILL has a stated aim to make intralogistics “smart” by developing scalable automated solutions, which is why it launched its iGO portfolio of products for applications requiring cantilever load handling.
