Shoppa's Material handling unifies under one brandNorth American Toyota forklift distributor, Shoppa’s Material Handling, has announced it will integrate its warehouse automation and intralogistics capabilities under the Shoppa’s Material Handling brand.
The business says this will create a single, unified organisation focused on delivering complete material handling solutions, with the transition reflecting both the changing needs of customers and the direction of the industry.
“As warehouses and distribution centres increasingly combine traditional material handling equipment with automation, robotics, software, and integrated systems, customers are looking for one trusted partner to help them design, implement, and support their operations from end-to-end,” the Fort Worth-based business states.
It adds the transition to one brand also aligns with the recent formation of Toyota Automated Logistics, which unites the former Bastian Solutions, viastore and Vanderlande’s warehousing business, into one entity.
“Our customers have trusted Shoppa’s for decades because we’ve always innovated alongside their business,” explains Jimmy Shoppa, president of Shoppa’s Material Handling.
“As the industry continues to embrace automation and integrated warehouse technologies, we’re bringing all of our capabilities together under one name to make it easier for customers to access the expertise, equipment, and support they need.
“Much like TMHNA’s recent alignment of its automation businesses, this is a natural evolution that positions us to deliver even greater value while remaining the trusted partner our customers have always relied on.”
The transition to the one brand will bring together Toyota forklifts and materials handling equipment with dock and door equipment, warehouse design, engineering, and systems integration; racking and storage solutions and warehouse automation and robotics, including AS/RS and AMRs.
“By unifying these capabilities under the Shoppa’s Material Handling name, customers will experience a more streamlined engagement, improved collaboration among engineering and service teams, and a single point of accountability from initial consultation through ongoing support,” Shoppa’s states.
