Chinese motive battery and energy storage specialists ROYPOW has started operation of its high-capacity battery PACK production line at its headquarters in Huizhou, China.

The opening of the production line marks a milestone in ROYPOW’s manufacturing capabilities for high-capacity lithium battery systems supporting 587Ah, 588Ah, and 628Ah cells in materials handling, marine and construction applications. 

With an annual capacity of 1GWh, the line further enhances ROYPOW’s scalable manufacturing capability while total annual PACK production across different product categories now exceeds 8GWh.

ROYPOW says the facility integrates a continuous straight-through production flow, including high-precision forming and welding processes, and advanced lifting technologies, significantly improving efficiency and consistency. 

It also features an integrated production and assembly system with standardised processes, enabling rapid line changeovers and enhanced manufacturing flexibility.
