Mitsubishi offers new cabins
Almere, The NetherlandsMitsubishi Forklift Trucks designers have created three new ranges of forklift cabins to boost driver comfort.
The company says ergonomics and comfort were priorities at every stage of developing the VersaCab, PlusCab and ProCab ranges, which are used on the 1.5-5.5 T Grendia family of diesel and LPG forklifts.
The VersaCab range of panel cabins offers flexible configurations while the PlusCab range was developed for customers who already own a Grendia forklift. The ProCab cabin, set on flour floating rubber mounts, has a "luxury" seat.
Jungheinrich shows off tow tractor at fair
Hamburg, GermanyJungheinrich will exhibit its new EZS C40 tow tractor at the "inter airport Europe 2011" expo from 11-14 October in Munich.
The tractor, released to the market this year, is based on the EZS 350 XL tractor and designed for pulling trailers up to a total weight of 4,000 kg (8,819 lb.) The new tractor is different from the basic tractor with its "super-elastic" tyres, modified drive compartment and a 100 mm (3.9 in.) increase in its ground clearance.
Jungheinrich will also showcase its EZS 570 tractor that can move trailers with an overall mass of up to 7 T, and the EZS 6250 tractor that can transport loads up to 25 T. An EFG series counterbalance forklift is also in the exhibit.
Clark App for iPhone
Mülheim an der Ruhr, GermanyClark Europe GmbH has launched a mobile application that can be used on iPhones and iPads.
The free app contains the company's details, history data and detailed product overview with technical specification sheets. The app also shows an interactive world map with GPS functions to help users locate local Clark dealers. There is even a "motion-sensitive" Clark forklift game included.
Clark hopes to adapt the app for other operating systems.
