Hyster has introduced changes to its Matrix reach truck series that it says will deliver greater performance and a lower cost of operation in warehouse aisles.
The manufacturer says it has boosted productivity by increasing the truck's maximum traction speed by 8%. With no change between the laden and unladen speeds, the truck achieves faster cycle times, especially over long distances, helping reduce the cost of operation.

Manitou launches new machine at show

Manitou UK has introduced the MLA630T at the Cereals Show 2011.
The new model pivot steer telescopic farm loader replaces the MLA628T, which was discontinued in 2010.
Manitou says there is demand in the UK and Irish markets for the pivot steer concept. Its appeal is based on the centre-mounted cab providing good visibility for the operator and the articulation to manoeuvre into restricted farm buildings. The machine will be available in the final quarter of 2011.

Yale Europe launches new machines

Yale Europe Materials Handling has developed the new MO50T tow tractor to optimise operations in industries where in-line feed or milk run operations are common.
Designed with the operator in mind, the tow tractor has an "easy-to-operate" scooter control feature that provides optimum speed control. An ISO 3691-compliant coasting function (also known as creep speed) enables the operator to move the tow tractor without having to access the truck.
The manufacturer also launched the new MO20 low-level order picker designed to optimise the speed and ease of picking when retrieving goods from both sides of a warehouse aisle.
