Healthy Heads and ASCLA agree to work togetherA new partnership has been formed aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes for those working across Australia’s supply chain and logistics sectors.
Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (Healthy Heads) and the Australasian Supply Chain & Logistics Association (ASCLA), signed a Memorandum of Understanding stating they will work together to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing, share industry insights and resources, and promote healthier workplaces across these sectors.
The partnership brings together ASCLA’s network of supply chain and logistics professionals with Healthy Heads’ expertise in mental health and wellbeing programs, resources and industry engagement.
Healthy Heads CEO, Naomi Frauenfelder, says the partnership recognises that workforce wellbeing is a shared responsibility across the entire supply chain.
“Supply chains are powered by people,” she continues. “Whether they work behind the wheel, in a warehouse, in a distribution centre or in an office, their wellbeing matters.
“We know that mentally healthy workplaces are safer, more productive, and more sustainable. By working together, Healthy Heads and ASCLA can help ensure wellbeing remains a priority across all parts of the supply chain and logistics sector.”
ASCLA CEO Steven Ballerini adds that the partnership reflects ASCLA’s commitment to supporting the people who keep supply chains moving.
“Our industry depends on skilled and dedicated people, and their wellbeing is fundamental to its success,” Ballerini says. “Healthy Heads has built an outstanding reputation for supporting mental health and wellbeing in transport, warehousing and logistics.
“We are delighted to partner with them and look forward to expanding the reach of this important work across our membership.”
