Apprenticeship agreement signed to address skills shortageBusiness group Logistics UK, in a bid to address the shortage of heavy vehicle technicians entering the logistics sector, has joined forces with Loughborough College Group’s Stephenson College, to deliver specialist apprenticeships in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Based in Coalville, Leicestershire, Stephenson College is an award-winning apprenticeship provider which has been named as a Centre of Excellence for technical and professional training. The college is well-known for its technical and trade courses, offering state-of-the-art training environments across forklift engineering, motor vehicles, HGV, motorsport and more.
Under the agreement, Logistics UK will support Loughborough College Group with the delivery of its Level 3 HGV Technician Apprenticeship program.
