Noblelift's 4-wheel 7,000 lb. pneumatic Alpha forkliftNoblelift North America has extended its Alpha range of forklifts with the introduction of a 7,000 lb. (3,175kg) capacity machine, which is available in both lithium-ion and LPG configurations.
The Alpha Series is the sector’s first purpose-built platform for both LPG and lithium-ion power, according to Noblelift, and uses the same machine for both fuel sources.
It was first launched in October 2023, with capacities between 5,000 lbs. and 6,000 lbs. (2,268kg and 2,722kg). The LPG version is powered by a 56.2 HP/2,600 rpm Kubota engine while the lithium-ion model features a powerful high quality permanent magnet motor.
The ergonomic forklifts are equipped with a 4-way proportional hydraulics to carriage, deluxe suspension seat, pneumatic tyres and on-demand fully hydrostatic power steering.
Safety features of the Alpha line of forklifts include a wide view mast, integrated side shift, intelligent buffering, large frame-mounted LCD display, a large ergonomic cab, tilt cylinder boost and LED safety blue light, rear work light, headlights and strobe.
Noblelift North America says the Alpha 70 Li (lithium-ion) and LPG series have been engineered for productivity, durability, and operator comfort and is designed to “tackle demanding material handling with confidence”.
“The Alpha LPG Series is the same forklift [as the Li-Ion] but with a Kubota LPG engine, allowing you to choose the power source that best fits your operation without sacrificing performance, comfort or familiarity,” the company states.
“This minimises spare parts inventory, reducing service and maintenance costs.
"Future lithium conversion kits will present the opportunity for Alpha LPG forklifts to be upgraded to lithium power, extending their operational lifespan.”
