"Singapore is one of the world's largest ports and it offers a unique view to customer trends, requirements and future needs for research, development and engineering purposes."Cargotec has been present in Singapore for over 30 years. It currently employs about 450 people in the South East Asian nation, representing its Hiab, Kalmar, MacGregor and Bromma brands.The company has identified the Asia Pacific region as one of its growth areas that accounted for 40% of total sales in 2010. Cargotec's Asian production sites are in China, India, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore.In 2010, Cargotec's sales totaled EUR2.6 billion (USD3.8 billion) and it employs about 10,500 people.
