The Archies 2025 took place in BirminghamThe winners of the Archies 2025, the annual awards ceremony honouring excellence in the UK materials handling sector, have been announced.
Conducted by the UK Materials Handling Association (UKMHA), this year’s event took place alongside the IMHX logistics trade show in Birmingham.
This year marked the 30th anniversary of the Archies, with the 15 award categories including everything from Best New Product and Excellence in Automation to the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Rising Star Award.
The full list of 2025 Archies Award winners is:
- Best New Product: Hyster-Yale Materials Handling
- Best Safety Initiative: Dendro Lift AB AMR (Supply Chain) Limited
- Customer Service Excellence Award: 4KS Forklift Training
- Excellence in Automation: HaiPick Climb
- Intralogistics Project of the Year: Logistex and John Lewis & Partners
- Industry Leader Award: Stephen Burton, Windsor Materials Handling
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Graham Hughes
- Logistics Innovation Award: ADM Packaging Automation
- Operational Efficiency Award: HUBTEX (UK) Limited with REHAU
- Training Provider of the Year: Transport Training Academy
- Rising Star Award: Ashleigh Page, GXO Logistics, Inc.
- Sustainability Excellence Award: MIDAC Batteries UK
- Technology Innovator Award: Powerfleet
- UKMHA Dealer Member of the Year: WESTEXE FORKLIFTS LIMITED
- Apprentice of the Year (Year 2): Thomas Wright, Briggs Equipment UK Ltd
- Apprentice of the Year (Year 3): Dan Allen, Crown Lift Trucks UK
Hyster won in the Best New Product category for J10-18XD, a series of high-capacity forklifts with integrated lithium-ion battery power.
Ricky Hirani, global commercial product leader, big trucks & port equipment for Hyster, says he is thrilled to see the company recognised in this way.
