JMP acquires Alfacon Solutions

Alfacon Solutions joins the JMP Solutions stable.
JMP Solutions has acquired the assets of Alfacon Solutions, a custom materials handling solution provider based in Milton, Ontario.

The employees of Alfacon now form JMP’s Material Handling Division, under the leadership of John Murdoch, Alfacon's former CEO. He will lead the division as managing director.

"We are very happy the Alfacon team has decided to join us at JMP," says Scott Shawyer, JMP president and CEO. "Their capabilities ... will allow us to provide our customers with very high-quality, made-in-North-America advanced materials handling solutions."

JMP Solutions will be augmenting the team from Alfacon with their project execution framework, project management resources and control system design and implementation expertise.

JMP Solutions is an industrial technology partner to Fortune 1,000 manufacturers and producers, providing engineering services and turnkey solutions in areas including automated guided vehicles and materials handling.

Alfacon Solutions, founded in 1983, provides custom design, engineering, manufacturing and installation support for its customer base of small manufacturers to Fortune 500 companies. Its products include lifting equipment, package and pallet handling conveyors and sortation systems, truck loaders, extendable and vertical conveyors, belt and roller conveyor systems and AGVs .
