The last two finalists make it through the heats
Philip Contento of Convatec has secured a spot in the RTITB International Forklift Operator of the Year finals after winning the last heat.

The heats were held in Birmingham as part of the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX).

The day four runner-up, Simon Bottomley from Nasalezes, also moves forward to the grand final.

They will be joined in the last round by Emily White of System Training and Matthew Vassallo of Hasbro, winner and runner up from day three; Samantha Tyson of PPG and Thomas Birkbeck of KP Snacks, first and second on day two; and Kris Scarborough from Wilko Retail Ltd and Adam Hayes from Travis Perkins, winner and runner-up from the first day.

Held over four days, the competition welcomed 40 operators from around the world.

The grand final will be held at RTITB headquarters in early 2017.
