Lencrow Materials Handling has just released the first in its range of heavy duty floor sweepers. The unit is an Ausa B201RH, this unit is the starting point in Ausa's range of sweeping and cleaning equipment. The units are very popular with municipal applications across Europe.

The B201RH is built on the platform of a 2000kg mini dumper which is powered by a 4 cylinder diesel Kubota engine and has a 4 wheel drive hydrostatic transmission to allow the driver complete control on all surface types. The sweeper has a main broom and two side brooms to give a total sweep path of 2370mm and offers selectable dust control by means of water sprays. The sweeper section hopper is 245lts which can be dumped in the bucket of the dumper which hold 1250lts. This combination allows hours of non stop operation.

Brian Eddy, Lencrow's sweeper and scrubber consultant says "We have a number of our customers that work in a far from perfect large yard, when they use a conventional floor sweeper the terrain causes damage and excessive wear, these units are designed to give the best results on smooth level floors. So we needed a machine to give the best results in these yards without causing excessive maintenance costs to the unit. This is why we have imported the Ausa B201RH unit, it has large wheels for rough sites, combined with the diesel engine and hydrostatic drive gives the power required with smooth operation."

This unit has other advantages. The unit in less than 15minutes can change into a self loading 2000kg dump truck with the attachment of 180Ltr bucket. The B201RH has all the safety features you have come to expect from the Ausa product such as oil immersed wet disc brakes, the drivers guard is ROP's rated and a windscreen with washer is standard.
