LGMG had its full equipment range on display at CONEXPOThe US construction trade show CONEXPO has wrapped up in Las Vegas with a number of new materials handling products unveiled.
Shandong-based materials handling equipment making giant LGMG, introduced three new products to the North American market including a new electric counterbalance forklift series.
The X7 series was launched late in 2025 but is new to the North American market. It features dual front-wheel drive, which LGMG says delivers 20% full-load gradeability and a top speed of 20 km/h. Additional features include wet brakes, an active safety control system, and a universal 80V battery platform compatible with both lead-acid and lithium-ion configurations. The forklifts are CE certified.
Also launched by LGMG, a subsidiary of the Lingong Group (or Lingong Machinery Group) was the H1256 telehandler which is designed for material handling, roof installation, and infrastructure construction applications.
The telehandler is powered by a Cummins 90 kW engine and equipped with a fully electro-hydraulic proportional joystick and load-sensing system to deliver stable performance and fuel-efficient operation.
Also launched to the North American market at CONEXPO were LGMG’s 125-foot (38m) telescopic boom lifts which have been engineered for large venues, airports, and industrial construction projects.
The telescopic boom combines dual heavy-load capacities with a 5-degree working angle and 45% gradeability. Designed for transport within a 40-ft. (12m) container, the lifts incorporate load-sensing hydraulics, CAN-based control systems, and intelligent diagnostics supporting precise control, improved energy efficiency, and simplified maintenance under demanding job-site condition, LGMG states.
Manitou's new MTA 519 e telehandler
French materials handling equipment maker Manitou Group used CONEXPO to launch a number of new products including a 100% electric telehandler designed for North American requirements.
The MTA 519 e telehandler operates on a 33 kWh lithium-ion battery which can be partially charged; a configuration Manitou says reduces maintenance costs by 56%, significantly lowering the total cost of ownership compared to internal combustion equivalents.
The telehandler has a lift height of 19 ft. 1 in. (5.8m) and a lift capacity of 5,500 lbs. (2.5T), with an autonomy up to five hours of continuous operation.
“This model was specifically tailored for the North American market, featuring a new cab, a specialised joystick, and a universal skid steer connection for attachments frequently used in the USA,” Manitou states.
The company says first deliveries are expected toward the end of Q2 2026.
The MTA 519 is manufactured in France and is now transported to the US via the Neoliner, the world’s largest sailing cargo ship, operating between Nantes, France, and the Port of Baltimore, Maryland.
“By utilising wind energy, the Neoliner reduces carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional vessels, supporting Manitou Group’s SBTi-validated low-carbon trajectory,” Manitou adds.
Manitou says the launch “reaffirms its commitment to innovation and performance, with a strategic emphasis on electrification”.
