Multiway Robotics' award-winning OT10 pallet truckChinese-headquartered intelligent intralogistics solution provider Multiway Robotics, has won a French Design Award for its newly launched OT10 omnidirectional autonomous pallet truck.
The French Design Awards are held annually in Paris and recognise outstanding creativity and innovation, with Multiway picking up this year’s award in the Industrial category.
The OT10 has a load capacity of 1,000kg, offers 360-degree movement in narrow aisles and is compatible with various pallets and non-standard carriers, “satisfying diverse materials handling demands across multiple scenarios”, Multiway states.
It has a turning radius of 933mm and features 2D/3D SLAM autonomous navigation technology, autonomous mapping, intelligent obstacle avoidance, automatic elevator docking for cross-floor transport, and travels at a maximum speed of 1.7m/s.
Other features include path deviation protection, a bottom obstacle radar and fork head anti-collision detection. It is powered by a LiFePO4 48V/67Ah battery with manual or auto charging.
Multiway says the specifications of the autonomous pallet truck “comprehensively improves efficiency, collaboration, and flexibility throughout warehousing and production workflows”.
