Multiway Robotics has officially launched the OT10 Omnidirectional Autonomous Pallet Truck, an innovative material handling solution designed to address the growing challenges of complex intralogistics operations. Recognized for its outstanding product design and engineering innovation, the OT10 was recently honored with the 2026 French Design Award, highlighting Multiway Robotics’ commitment to combining intelligent automation with user-centric industrial design.
Featuring 360° omnidirectional movement, advanced 3D SLAM navigation, autonomous elevator integration, and broad compatibility with various pallet types and custom load carriers, the OT10 enables businesses to maximize storage utilization, improve operational flexibility, and streamline material flow across warehouse and manufacturing environments.
NEW OT10 Omnidirectional Autonomous Pallet Truck | 360° Movement in Ultra-Narrow Aisles
1. 360°Omnidirectional Movement for Space-Constrained Environments
As warehouse operators seek to increase storage density without compromising efficiency, maneuverability has become a critical factor. The OT10 addresses this challenge through its omnidirectional movement capability, allowing the vehicle to move forward, backward, laterally, and rotate in place.
With right-angle stacking aisle widths as narrow as 1900 mm (74.8 in), the OT10 can operate efficiently in confined spaces where conventional forklifts struggle. This capability helps maximize warehouse capacity while improving material handling efficiency in narrow-aisle and high-density storage environments.
2. Versatile Compatibility for Diverse Scenarios
Designed to support a wide range of logistics applications, the OT10 is compatible with standard pallets, including four-way pallets, two-way pallets, as well as customized non-standard load carriers.
The vehicle also supports autonomous elevator docking, enabling seamless cross-floor material transportation. Whether serving production lines, warehouse operations, or multi-floor facilities, the OT10 provides a flexible and scalable automation solution that reduces operational complexity.
3. Infrastructure-Free 3D SLAM Navigation
Powered by advanced 3D SLAM navigation technology, the OT10 can autonomously map, localize, and navigate without requiring reflectors, magnetic strips, or QR codes. This infrastructure-free deployment enables rapid implementation and flexible adaptation to changing warehouse layouts.
With a maximum travel speed of 1.7 m/s and a rated load capacity of 1,000 kg (2,205 lb), the OT10 delivers reliable performance for high-frequency material handling tasks while reducing manual intervention and improving operational consistency.
4. Comprehensive Safety Protection
Safety remains fundamental to autonomous warehouse operations. The OT10 incorporates a comprehensive nine-layer safety protection system that combines active warning systems, non-contact obstacle detection, physical protection mechanisms, and system-level safeguards.
Key features include audible and visual alarms, obstacle avoidance sensors, emergency stop functions, safety bumpers, path deviation protection, and localization anomaly protection, ensuring safe operation in dynamic environments where personnel and equipment work side by side.
Accelerating Smart Intralogistics
The launch of the OT10 reflects Multiway Robotics’ continued focus on developing intelligent automation solutions that help businesses improve efficiency, maximize space utilization, and advance their digital transformation initiatives.
By combining award-winning industrial design with advanced autonomous technology, the OT10 delivers a smarter, safer, and more flexible approach to modern material handling, empowering warehouses and factories to meet the evolving demands of today's supply chains.
