JLG president retires
McConnellsburg, PA, United StatesCraig Paylor has retired as president of JLG Industries Inc and executive vice president of Oshkosh Corp..Paylor joined JLG in 1978 as a district sales manager. He became the senior vice president of sales and market development in 1999. During his more than 30 years at JLG, Paylor has played a key role in supporting the company's growth from a USD40 million privately held company to a publicly traded global corporation with sales approaching USD3 billion prior to the acquisition by Oshkosh in 2006. He has been JLG president since May 2007.
Wilson Jones will succeed Paylor as president of JLG from 1 July. Jones has been in the specialty vehicle manufacturing industry for over 20 years. He joined Oshkosh Corp in 2005 as the vice president and general manager of the airport products business unit. In 2007, he was promoted to president of Oshkosh subsidiary Pierce Manufacturing and to the position of executive vice president of the Fire and Emergency segment in 2008.
Grammer appoints Pretscher
Amberg, GermanyGrammer AG has appointed Manfred Pretscher as a member of its executive board.
After the departure of Dr Rolf-Dieter Kempis as chairman of the executive board, Pretscher will complete the three-person board along with chairman-designate Hartmut Müller and CFO Alois Ponnath.
Prescther, who has been with Grammer since 2008, will be in charge of the seating systems division and will be acting personnel director. He will also be responsible for purchasing and operations, and operations performance management.
