Jungheinrich - Germany
Jungheinrich’s supervisory board has extended the term of chief executive officer, Dr Lars Brzoska, with a new four-year contract, locking him in until 30 July 2030.
The decision was made ahead of schedule and, the board says, sends a clear signal of continuity and stability at the top of the Hamburg-based family business as it continues its growth and transformation plans.
Brzoska has been a member of the board of management of Jungheinrich since April 2014 and has led the company as chairman of the board of management since 1 September 2019.
Jungheinrich says, under his leadership, it has strengthened its position as a materials handling provider, advanced the automation and digitalisation of its portfolio and consistently aligned the group towards profitable growth and sustainability.
Andreas Umbach, chairman of the supervisory board of Jungheinrich says: “In Dr Lars Brzoska, Jungheinrich has a proven material handling expert at its helm who leads the company with clear strategic direction and strong operational rigour. The early extension of his contract expresses the supervisory board’s full confidence and is a clear commitment to continuity at the top of the group.”
