Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) - Australia

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) has named Cameron Paxton as its new president & chief executive officer following the retirement of outgoing president and CEO Steve Takacs. 

The appointment became effective July 1.

Paxton has been with TMHA for more than 29 years and has previously held the position of TMHA executive vice president & chief operating officer.

TMHA states he has played a pivotal role in shaping its strategic direction, improving operational areas, and focusing on safety and performance.

Paxton started his career in the materials handling sector in 1997 with Melbourne-based ProLift as its business and sales manager.

Bobcat Company has announced Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America, will retire effective July 31, after a 30-year career with the company.

Ballweber joined Bobcat in 1998 and was appointed president in 2019. Bobcat states that during his tenure, Ballweber helped strengthen Bobcat’s dealer network, expand the company’s product portfolio and advance manufacturing and innovation initiatives. 

“I’m sincerely grateful to have led this organisation and worked alongside such talented colleagues, dealers and customers,” Ballweber says. “This is a bittersweet moment, as Bobcat has been such an important part of my life. 

“My retirement comes with great pride in what we’ve accomplished together and with confidence in the strength of our team, our strategy and the future ahead.”

Scott Park, CEO and vice chairman of Doosan Bobcat, will serve as interim president of the North America region, working closely with the regional leadership team to maintain continuity until a successor is named.

French equipment manufacturer Manitou Group has named Marcel-Claude Braud as its new chairman of the board of directors.

He will serve in this role until the end of his current tenure in 2027.

Braud has served as a director and in board committees since 2013.

Braud started his career International Harvester before he joined Manitou Group, holding numerous executive positions in both France and the United States. He served as chairman of the management board of the group from 1998 to 2009.

Braud is charged with ensuring the continuity of the controlling family shareholders' commitment to the group's development and will work with the board to support the transition of new president & CEO, Sylvain Blaise.
