Belgian parts specialist TVH, has named Giuliano Parodi as its new chief executive officer effective from September 1.
Parodi brings almost 25 years’ experience in the industrial equipment and automotive sectors, most recently with Japanese industrial equipment manufacturer Yanmar for seven years where his roles included managing director EMEA, chairman of the board and chief strategy officer.
He has also worked with Bobcat Company and Fiat Group and is now tasked with leading TVH into its next chapter of global growth.
“I am very proud to join TVH at such an exciting moment in its journey,” Parodi says. “I look forward to working with the team to define the next phase of growth, with a clear focus on customers, execution and long-term value creation.”

Johann Strauss
US-based Big Joe Forklifts has named Johann Strauss as its director of sales, national accounts & strategic partnerships where he will oversee national account strategy and customer development initiatives.
He has previously held leadership roles with KION North America and Jungheinrich in both the US and France, and with Toyota in Belgium.
Strauss joins Big Joe with a strong track record of driving strategic growth, building customer partnerships, and leading high-performing sales organisations across North America and Europe.
Jason Dunigan, VP of sales at Big Joe Forklifts says Strauss’s “global perspective, strategic mindset, and customer-first approach make him an outstanding addition to the Big Joe team”.
“His extensive experience managing national accounts and developing strong dealer and customer relationships will be instrumental as we continue expanding our footprint and delivering innovative material handling solutions,” Dunigan adds.
Strauss says Big Joe is at the centre of “one of the most significant shifts in material handling — the move to electric and autonomous solutions”.
“And that’s exactly where I want to be building,” Strauss continues. “I’m excited to work with the dealer network and our national account customers to help accelerate that transition and deliver real value on the warehouse floor.”

Chris Price
Bito Storage Systems, the UK subsidiary of German-headquartered BITO-Lagertechnik Bittmann GmbH which also offers industrial AGVs, has named Chris Price as its managing director. He succeeds Edward Hutchinson who retired at the end of February after more than 25 years of leadership with the business.
Price brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across the intralogistics, materials handling and automated solutions sectors, most recently serving as managing director of EK Robotics.
He has also held senior roles with STILL Materials Handling, Jungheinrich and Briggs Equipment UK.
Winfried Schmuck, CEO of BITO-Lagertechnik Bittmann, says the company is delighted to welcome Price to his new role.
“He brings a strong track record of leadership, growth and transformation within the intralogistics sector, together with a deep understanding of the UK market,” Schmuck adds. “Chris is ideally placed to build on the exceptional foundations laid by Edward Hutchison and to continue the successful development of our UK business in close alignment with the BITO Group.”
