Mark Rogers

TVH UK & Ireland - United Kingdom

Mark Rogers has stepped down from his role as general manager of TVH UK & Ireland, after six years with the materials handling equipment parts and accessories business.

Rogers started in materials handling as a HGV technician and worked for 16 years with Jungheinrich as a field engineer before rising to the position of area service manager.

In a LinkedIn post written on his final day with TVH, Rogers says he has spent the last few months thinking about what makes companies great.

“We all know that culture comes from the top and that senior leaders set the vision, the targets and the pace,” he says. “That’s great but I truly believe that those that do the doing make the real difference.

“The people that speak to customers day in and day out, sometimes with bad news. Sorting issues and ensuring customers are informed and happy. Those that ensure the products are on the shelf and ready to be picked. That get those products to customers on time and in the right condition.

“I walk away with a warm feeling that this company has those people by the bucket load.”

Alex B Johns

Elokon North America - United States

Alex B Johns has been appointed president of Elokon North America, effective immediately.

Johns joined Elokon in 2021 as national sales director and was promoted to vice president in 2024.

In his new role, Johns will continue working closely with Elokon Group CEO Alex Glasmacher to expand the company’s reach across North America.

“Over the last five years, Elokon's business in North America has grown substantially in revenue, customer complexity, and strategic importance, thanks in large part to Alex’s clear, empowered leadership in the region,” Glasmacher says.

“This appointment formally recognises what Alex has already become: the senior executive responsible for our US business in its entirety.

“Not only has he built and led our sales organisation, but he’s developed key customer and partner relationships, and time and time again stepped up to take ownership—commercially, operationally and culturally.”

Prior to joining ELOKON, Johns worked in sales leadership positions for companies such as Acuity Brands, AMS Factory Automation, and RAIT88 Technologies.

Peter Church

FB Leaf Chain - United Kingdom

Peter Church has announced he will step aside from his role as managing director with FB Leaf Chain.

Church started with the business in 1990 before leaving 11 years later to “gain wider commercial experience,” he says.

Church returned in 2010 as managing director.

In the last five years, he has helped complete two acquisitions and has developed a global e-commerce strategy for the business. He says automation and digitalisation underpin the growth of the business.

Church will be replaced by Karen Barton who started with FB Leaf Chain in 1995 as finance manager.

“Karen has already played a key role in shaping how the business operates today,” Church says of his successor. “This next phase is about executing our strategy with greater structure and focus, and she is well placed to lead that.”
