Johan Leveque, head of R&D with La Poste Groupe, has been voted in as vice-chair of ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe).
ALICE states Leveque brings deep technical and operational expertise to his new role, having spearheaded significant AI and logistics optimisation innovations in his role with La Poste, notably the design and implementation of a nationwide cargo-bike urban delivery network recognised by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition.
Leveque’s academic and professional credentials are equally impressive, holding a PhD in mathematics applied to supply chain management, he is an affiliate researcher at the Georgia Tech Physical Internet Lab, and has co-founded U-ride and CMC Investments, bridging urban logistics and venture innovation.
His stated priorities as vice-chair include accelerating physical internet adoption, supporting collaborative sustainability practices, and aligning ALICE’s strategies with the large-scale deployment of innovations.
“I want to deeply thank every single person who voted for me,” Leveque says in a LinkedIn post. “I will do my best to follow the footsteps of my predecessor Sergio Barbarino, and will keep fighting for ideas to become investments, for pilots to be scaled and deployed, and for strategy to come to execution.”

German transport management software specialists LIS Logistische Informationssysteme (LIS), has named Rob Schreurs as its new Co-CEO, succeeding Magnus Wagner and working alongside Rolf Hansmann.
The appointment takes effect from February 2.
Rob Schreurs has extensive international experience in logistics and transport management systems. His focus is on customer proximity, operational excellence and building sustainable partnerships.
He will work at the company's headquarters in Greven and he will work closely with the management team and the employees of LIS.
“I am very much looking forward to working with the LIS team to shape the next development phase,” Schreurs says.
