UniCarriers launches its BXQC SeriesMitsubishi Logisnext Americas (MLA) has launched its latest UniCarriers Forklifts BXCQ Series of IC forklifts which are available with capacities from 4,000 lbs. (1,814kg) to 8,000lbs. (3,629kg).
UniCarriers Forklifts are manufactured and distributed by MLA in North, Central and South America.
The BXQC Series is part of what UniCarriers describes as the new generation of electric cushion trucks, with energy-efficient motors and extended-life batteries.
The forklift can reach loaded lifting speeds of up to 110.2 ft. (33.6m) per minute, which MLA says outperforms electric competitors and matching IC counterparts. It can travel at speeds of 12.5m/ph.
A newly designed counterweight lowers the centre of gravity, enabling the trucks to lift 5,000 lbs. (2,268kg) to a height of 4.75m.
The forklift features dual-drive motors, a 100-degree steering axle and can turn within its own footprint making it suitable for use in narrow spaces and in tight aisles.
Curve control senses speed and steer angle to slow the truck when needed while Passive Sway Control senses mast movement (at heights above 3.8m) and absorbs mast sway into the gearbox and chassis.
The BXQC Series is available with battery options which include 36V and 48V lead-acid batteries and a 48V lithium-ion battery.
MLA says the forklift is built in Illinois with 75% of the components manufactured and sourced from US manufacturers.
