Mitsubishi Logisnext Group is changing its name to Logisnext CoJapanese-headquartered materials handling equipment producer Mitsubishi Logisnext Group (ML) has announced that it plans to change its company name to Logisnext Co. (LN).
In addition, two of the group's subsidiaries will rebrand. Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas (MLA) will be known as Logisnext Americas (LNA) while Mitsubishi Logisnext Asia Pacific (MLAP) will be known as Logisnext Asia Pacific (LNAP).
Under the rebranding, which LNA describes as a significant milestone on its evolution, the company’s existing Mitsubishi forklifts will also be rebranded to Logisnext Forklifts.
“[This] announcement reflects our forward momentum as a company, but it does not change who we are at our core,” says Berry Mansfield, president of MLA. “For decades, customers have relied on us for dependable equipment, consistent service, and solutions that drive their success, and that foundation remains unchanged.”
The rebranded APAC business - APAC/C/SA (Asia Pacific, China and South Africa) - says the change “will mark a significant step in ML’s ongoing transformation”.
It has also entered into a strategic partnership with Japan Industrial Partners to support its growth.
Under this rebranding, Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks in the APAC/C/SA region will also transition to Logisnext Forklifts.
“While our name is changing, our commitment to customers and dealer partners remains unchanged,” says Yasumitsu Baba, managing director of Mitsubishi Logisnext Asia Pacific.
“We will continue to provide reliable equipment, trusted services, and solutions that drive customer success, while further strengthening our global alignment.”
Other brands carried by MLPA include Cat Lift Trucks, UniCarriers, TCM and Nichiyu.
