Manitou Group reports improved Q4 results
French materials handling equipment maker Manitou Group, has released its Q4 financial results which reveal revenue of EUR721 million (USD856 million), a 10% increase on Q4 2024, making it the strongest quarter of the financial year.
Manitou reported softer results in the first nine months of the year, leading it to downgrade its revenue forecast for the year to a 4% year-on-year drop.
Full year revenues for Manitou were EUR2.56 billion (USD3.04 billion), down 3.5% year-on-year.
“The strong performance of the fourth quarter of 2025 allows us to project a recurring operating income at 5.5% of sales, an improvement over the previous guidance (5.3%),” it states.
Manitou says the momentum is being primarily driven by the Europe region which it says “contrasts” with North America.
“The North America region…remains penalised by increased customs duties, an uncertain economic environment, and unfavourable exchange rate effects,” Manitou states.
“During the same period, commercial activity remained very positive, with order intake reaching EUR726 million (USD862 million) — a level not seen since 2022.
“This growth is shared across all our geographical areas, driven notably by Europe and business with major rental companies. Our order book remains stable and represents approximately six months of activity.
“In a globally bearish market, the group is demonstrating its resilience and strengthening its positions through increased market share across all geographies."
The company is now forecasting growth in 2026 of some 4% on 2025 “subject to a stable macroeconomic and geopolitical context”.
