On 8–9 July 2026, ASEAN Ports and Logistics 2026 took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As an invited participant, Linde Material Handling showcased its technical capabilities and end-to-end solutions tailored for port logistics and heavy-duty handling.

Efficient, reliable heavy-duty forklifts remain a core element of internal logistics at port terminals and other large cargo-handling environments. Drawing on its deep experience in port logistics and KION Group’s decades of heavy-truck development, Linde adheres to German engineering and manufacturing standards to offer a complete product matrix ranging from 6 to 35 tonnes. This range is designed to address specific pain points of port operations and meet diverse heavy-duty handling requirements.

In terms of performance, Linde’s heavy-duty trucks deliver high lifting capacity, robust structural design and precise control responsiveness, with particular emphasis on safety and stability in continuous operations. Whether for container handling, bulk transfer on quaysides, or heavy-material moves in industrial settings, Linde equipment is engineered to provide dependable support across demanding duty cycles. To date, Linde has successfully delivered more than a thousand heavy-duty projects and units, accumulating extensive industry experience.

During the show, Malaysia’s Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke, visited Linde’s booth to discuss port logistics and heavy-duty handling solutions in depth.

Jimmy Lozada, Global Head of Heavy Truck Sales, KION Group, delivered a keynote on “Tailored Heavy-Duty Solutions.” He emphasized that large-item handling varies widely between industries and that standardized equipment often cannot meet bespoke needs. Linde configures machines with a variety of fork types, clamps, spreaders, lifting beams and other special options so that the equipment integrates closely with customers’ operating conditions. This customer-specific approach enables efficient, safe and reliable heavy-duty handling solutions across sectors.

Linde’s heavy-duty solutions were well received in the Southeast Asian market. Linde will keep innovating its heavy-duty forklifts and, through its full product and service offering, support high-quality growth in port logistics.
