Konecranes wins order for 53 RTGsTurkish-headquartered port and container terminal operator YILPORT Group, has placed an order for 53 automated and manual e-hybrid rubber-tyre gantry (RTG) cranes for its operations across three continents.
The order is for 10 automated e-hybrid RTGs for Liscont Container Terminal in Portugal, 10 automated e-hybrid RTGs for Leixões Port in Portugal,18 e-hybrid RTGs for Acajutla Port in El Salvador and 15 e-hybrid RTGs for Takoradi Port in Ghana.
The order was placed with manufacturer Konecranes in Q2 2026 days and delivery will take place in batches over the next two years.
YILPORT says the order will support its capacity growth at these terminals while also helping to lower emissions.

The automated E-Hybrid RTGs for Liscont Container Terminal and Leixões Port are equipped with the latest Konecranes Auto-Gantry feature, which enables fully automated, unsupervised gantry operation in addition to fully automated stacking operations.
This latest agreement further strengthens the long-standing collaboration between YILPORT and Konecranes and follows significant automated port equipment deliveries in 2025 to the same terminals in Portugal and to Sweden.
