Intralogistics provider Jungheinrich has launched a EUR100 million (USD 116.30 million) venture capital fund aimed at the next generation of European deep-tech founders.
The company says in a statement that Uplift Ventures, which is a subsidiary of Jungheinrich, will use the fund to invest in high-growth technology companies as well as select deep-tech venture capital funds in Europe, the U.S., and Asia.
As such, the fund represents an important component of Jungheinrich's long-term strategy to expand its own innovative strength. The focus is on early-stage startups that develop innovative solutions in the areas of physical AI, energy, enterprise AI and logistics.
"Deep tech innovations require long-term capital and partners who understand both industrial challenges and entrepreneurial ambitions," says Dr. Lars Brzoska, CEO of Jungheinrich.
"Uplift Ventures invests in the next generation of industrial technology pioneers, making it an important strategic partner for Jungheinrich and our Strategy 2030+."
Apart from assisting its own development, Jungheinrich says the fund will strengthen cooperation with technology-oriented start-up teams and entrepreneurs. The new venture capital fund complements the venture-building activities already launched in 2025 and thus further expands Uplift Ventures' platform.
Christian Noske, who has more than ten years of experience investing in deep tech companies in Europe, the US and China, joins the Uplift Ventures management team as general partner.
Noske will be responsible for the development of the new venture capital fund in the future.
