Jungheinrich launches AntOn range in APAC marketJungheinrich has officially launched its AntOn, entry-level range of materials handling equipment, to the Asia Pacific market, following its debut on the European market where it has recorded “strong sales”.
The initial AntOn range includes the CBH 2T and CBM 2.5T, 3T and 3.5T lithium-ion forklifts and the PTL 1.5T lithium-ion pallet truck.
The AntOn series is “set to expand towards a full product range”, Jungheinrich states.
The travel speed of the forklifts is 17km/h with the advanced lithium-ion batteries allowing for rapid charging and extended operation.
The PTL pallet truck has a load capacity of 1.5T and an additional battery slot for continuous performance.
“The launch responds to strong growth in the Asia-Pacific material handling ‘value’ segment, which is projected to expand at 8.1% by 2030, driven by accelerating industrialisation, logistics expansion, and construction activity across India and Southeast Asia, alongside ongoing diversification of regional supply chains like Australia and New Zealand,” Jungheinrich states.
The company adds that while China is a high-volume materials handling market with steady growth of some 6% CAGR, “faster expansion is occurring across India and Southeast Asia, where manufacturing relocation, warehousing demand, and infrastructure investment are reshaping regional logistics requirements”.
“Across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Taiwan, rapid growth in e-commerce, retail distribution and light manufacturing is driving demand for scalable fleet solutions, with customers increasingly focused on total cost of ownership amid rising labour costs and higher utilisation rates,” Jungheinrich continues.
It adds Thailand is emerging as a key logistics and manufacturing hub, with logistics accounting for approximately 13–14% of GDP and major infrastructure projects, while India’s rise as a global manufacturing hub is attracting major multinationals, accelerating foreign investment and driving sustained double-digit growth in the logistics sector.
“The AntOn by Jungheinrich brand is a new product line combining ease of use, reliability and cost-effectiveness,” says Nadine Despineux, member of the board of management, sales at Jungheinrich.
“We are specifically targeting companies that are looking for cost-effective and straightforward solutions for typical warehouse and transport requirements.”
Jungheinrich recently opened its new global OEM centre in Shanghai as a move to launching the AntOn range to the APAC market. The new brand was first announced by Jungheinrich in September, 2025.
