Jungheinrich's Peter Yim and Benedict Kothe at KOREA MAT 2026Jungheinrich has debuted its AntOn entry-level brand of forklifts and pallet trucks to the Korean market at the recent KOREA MAT event held in Seoul.
The launch expands the availability of the AntOn range in the Asia-Pacific where it was first launched in January this year.
The KOREA MAT launch initially includes the 2T, 2.5T, 3T and 3.5T lithium-ion counterbalance forklifts and the PTL 1.5 lithium-ion pallet truck with the portfolio expected to expand “towards a full product range”.
Jungheinrich says it is now entering a new phase of investment in Korea’s warehousing and logistics sectors, underpinned by strong growth projections for the market.
“Demand for electrified and value-driven material handling solutions continues to rise in Korea as businesses modernise fleets, expand automation and move away from internal combustion trucks,” Jungheinrich states.
“The electric material handling segment is projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.8% through 2030.
“Korea’s material handling sector continues to show strong growth potential, driven by rapid e-commerce expansion, labour shortages, rising safety requirements and the national shift toward sustainable and electrified logistics.”
