Joyma Industrial, a Mexican manufacturer of industrial tires and material handling products, has appointed Héctor Guerrero Castañeda as its new General Manager, marking the beginning of a new generation of leadership within the company.

Guerrero Castañeda succeeds Joaquín Ávila García, who has entrusted a new management team with ensuring the company’s continuity and guiding its evolution. The transition is intended to strengthen Joyma’s strategic plan and prepare the company for its next phase of growth.
With nearly 25 years at Joyma Industrial, Guerrero Castañeda brings extensive industry experience and a deep understanding of the company’s operations, markets, and long-standing business relationships.
Key priorities for this next phase include modernizing processes, strengthening strategic partnerships with customers and suppliers, and expanding Joyma’s presence in the Mexican market for industrial tires, wheels, casters, forklift parts, and related solutions. The strategy also calls for enhancing the company’s technical and commercial services while keeping customer needs at the center of its operations.
Joyma’s origins date to the mid-1950s. Since its incorporation as Hulera Joyma in 1960, the company has evolved into a specialized manufacturer and supplier of material-handling solutions. Today, Joyma manufactures rubber and polyurethane industrial tires, wheels, and casters. Through its LTP division, established in 2010, it also supplies forklift parts and accessories.

Joyma provides nationwide operational and commercial coverage through its manufacturing facility in Mexico City; four strategically located branches in Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, and Veracruz; and a robust distributor network. Together, this infrastructure enables the company to serve a wide range of industrial and logistics sectors, providing products, technical support, and specialized services for material-handling applications.

Through its partnership with global company ATIRE PVT, Joyma has added a new product portfolio to its offering. The expanded portfolio includes solutions for skid-steer loaders, port equipment, aerial work platforms, wheel loaders, telehandlers, and other types of industrial equipment. The partnership enables Joyma to serve new market segments and expand its sales and service capabilities.
At the same time, the growth of electric material-handling equipment has increased demand for polyurethane wheels designed for increasingly specialized applications. Joyma has responded by expanding its manufacturing capabilities for load wheels and other components, offering a range of specifications tailored to the operating requirements of each type of equipment.

The company also continues to collaborate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and businesses specializing in forklift rental and maintenance. These relationships allow Joyma to provide integrated solutions that combine products, service, technical support, and warranties designed to improve fleet performance and help control operating costs.

Joyma’s domestically manufactured portfolio of full-size industrial tires includes brands such as EXTRAFUERTE and RUDOFLEX, both developed for demanding industrial operations. RUDOFLEX incorporates Joyma’s patented rim-fit system, designed to maintain a precise and secure fit between the tire and rim during operation and reduce the risks associated with tire slippage.
