An updated JLG SkyTrak telehandlerTelehandler and mobile elevating work platform manufacturer JLG Industries, has announced an update and redesign of its SkyTrak 10042, 10054 and 12054 telehandlers for the North American market.
These next-generation machines complete the update of JLG’s full SkyTrak telehandler range.
JLG says they have been purpose-built for demanding materials handling, construction, infrastructure and industrial applications.
The refreshed models offer up to 12,000 lb. (5,440kg) lift capacity and up to 53 ft. 2 in. (16m) lift height, and feature updated technology and functionality engineered to meet “evolving job site demands”.
JLG explains each model is powered by a Tier 4 Final Cummins F3.8 110 Hp diesel engine and equipped with a 4-speed powershift transmission featuring new SmartShift technology, which automatically shifts between third and fourth gears to support efficient operation.
These models also feature a new advanced control system with updated diagnostics and expanded functionality, including optional load stability indication (LSI) and seatbelt engagement and operator presence (SEAOP) technologies.
The updated cab design has a larger LCD display and improved single-page load charts, an electric-over-hydraulic joystick with integrated auxiliary hydraulic functions and attachment tilt controls for greater multifunction capability.
