In some industrial environments, such as semiconductor manufacturing plants and facilities in which electronic waste and batteries are recycled, there is a heightened risk of fire or even explosions.

In such settings, for obvious reasons, equipment like the new explosion-protected electric forklifts from Linde MH (which are featured in this edition of Forkliftaction News) come highly recommended.

Elsewhere this week, we shine a light on the opening of Kalmar’s new fully automated test centre in Sweden, explain the significance of Enstructure’s acquisition of Logistec's marine services division, and note the official launch of LiuGong Machinery Co’s new subsidiary in Canada.

Plus, we have all our usual inclusions from the world of materials handling – the latest product releases, financial news, industry appointments and more.
