Noblelift signs deal with Malaysian supplier for 2,500 scissor lifts

Large equipment orders are in the news this week with Noblelift confirming a deal for 2,500 scissor lifts with a Malaysian client, Toyota Material Handling Australia receives an order for 120 machines including forklifts and pallet jacks, while Konecranes announces a Democratic Republic of Congo order for 12 machines.

We also report on a number of new product launches including machines from Kalmar and Konecranes unveiled at TOC Europe and French equipment maker Vallée launches a new rough-terrain forklift.

In other news, materials handling training certification in the UK is on the rise, the US Monthly Confidence Index for the equipment finance industry continues to climb and, the sector mourns two of its well-known players.
