Jungheinrich unveils FalcOn brandIn this week’s Forkliftaction News we report on the first commercial deployment of non-lithium multi-ion chemistry battery packs with two major Indian OEMs, Linde India and Godrej & Boyce, in what the developers are describing as “an inflection point for the forklift industry”.
“Lithium is trying to solve the lead-acid problem,” manufacturers Gegadyne Energy states. “We're solving lithium's limits.”
Also new to the market is Jungheinrich’s electric counterbalance heavy-duty forklift FalcOn, which has been developed for applications “in which electric forklifts have previously reached their limits”.
Wisconsin-headquartered Big Joe Forklifts has also launched a new product this week, its WS25-40 high performance, lithium-ion walkie straddle stacker.
In other news, the US Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry increases again, a new range of Swedish reach stackers wil be introduced into the UK, and logistics and warehousing is leading the adoption of integrated AI and robotic technology.
