Bunnings Mentone accepts the 100,001st CombiliftIndustrial Batteries Australia has announced its delivery of the first batch of 50 BSL Battery Li-ion forklift batteries to an undisclosed “valued, long-term client”.
“The BSLBatt product range, supplied exclusively through Industrial Batteries Australia, was chosen as the premium option among various alternatives,” states Industrial Batteries Australia (IBA) managing director, David Cooper.
“A key point is that our Li-ion batteries are fully supported by IBA's National infrastructure and service capability, our internally trained product specialists, and a locally provisioned 10-year/ 3,000 cycle Li-ion battery product warranty.”
Industrial Batteries Australia is one of the country’s largest power suppliers for the materials handling sector and is headquartered in Sydney.
BSLBatt is a Chinese-headquartered manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries, producing more than 950 models of forklift battery.
Meanwhile, Bunnings Mentone in Victoria has taken delivery of the 100,001st multidirectional forklift produced by Irish materials handling equipment manufacturer Combilift.
The forklift was delivered by Combilift’s Australian distributor, Victorian-headquartered forklift and access equipment provider Adaptalift Group.
Combilift’s managing director, Martin McVicar, attended the hand-over event.

Combilift has also recently launched its 2025 '12 Days of Christmas' annual video, a yearly event since 2019; this year raising funds for Unicef’s Ireland’s Children’s Emergency Fund as it raffles off its 100,000th multidirectional forklift.
