JLG launches vertical mast lift to North AmericaUS telehandlers and mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) producer, JLG Industries, has launched its higher reaching JLG E25MCL vertical mast lift to the North American market.
The machine delivers a 25 ft. (7.6m) platform height and 31 ft. (9.45m) working height, while maintaining a narrow chassis and zero inside turning radius to help navigate tight spaces and manoeuvring around obstacles in confined areas.
With a standard platform capacity of 350 lb. (159kg) and a 265 lb. (120kg) deck extension capacity, the E25MCL is designed to help operators carry the tools and materials needed to complete work efficiently at height.
The electric-powered telehandler, with its compact footprint and enhanced working height, has been designed for applications such as data centres, facilities maintenance, commercial construction and industrial environments.
Kristine Baisa, senior product specialist with JLG, says: “As modern job site needs change, access equipment must evolve”.
“The all-new E25MCL has been engineered with operator productivity, serviceability and job site versatility in mind. At the same time, it takes the next step forward in our vertical mast lift offering by bringing increased reach and productivity-focused technologies to a compact machine designed for space-constrained applications.”
JLG says, for the first time, the vertical mast lift features progressive elevated drive technology, which adjusts travel speed as the platform is raised, helping operators maintain productivity while driving at height.
To support uptime and simplify maintenance, JLG adds the E25MCL, includes several serviceability-focused enhancements, including relocated batteries under the hood, simplified harness routing and a reduced overall parts count.
Baisa continues: “By bringing technologies already used on JLG scissor lifts into our vertical mast lift line, we can continue to develop solutions that address changing job site needs, support machine uptime and improve operator productivity”.
