The Algerian Government has placed a large orderThe Algerian Government has placed an order with Korean equipment maker HD Hyundai XiteSolutions to supply 316 industrial vehicles, including forklifts.
The order, worth an approximate USD24.6 million, includes 10T, 25T and 30T forklifts used for handling and transporting heavy loads at large-scale construction sites such as shipyards and ports.
Deliveries are set to be completed by August this year.
HD Hyundai XiteSolutions says it secured the deal by offering equipment configurations tailored to conditions in Algeria and by promoting its after-sales service capabilities.
Korean media is also reporting HD Hyundai XiteSolutions has also scored additional orders for around 50 small forklifts from a UAE auto parts corporation and 40 midsize forklifts from a Syrian logistics corporation – both orders worth a combined USD2.7 million.
“These orders demonstrate not only the competitiveness of our products but also our ability to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs,” an HD Hyundai XiteSolutions official was quoted as saying. “We will continue to pursue additional large-scale orders from key global customers.”
