Exide Technologies awarded EcoVadis Gold againIndustrial and automotive battery manufacturer Exide Technologies, has been re-awarded the EcoVadis gold rating for 2026, recognising its commitment to sustainability.
The honour places Exide among the top 5% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis in the last 12 months in the four areas covered: environment, labour & human rights, sustainable procurement and ethics.
“Following the previous assessment, the reconfirmed gold rating reflects the ongoing progress Exide Technologies has made across all evaluated sustainability areas,” the company states.
“Since 2025, the company has further improved its overall score, while maintaining its position among the top performers in the EcoVadis assessment. This prestigious distinction places Exide Technologies in the top 2% of over 150,000 companies assessed worldwide and in the top 1% within the battery and accumulator manufacturing industry.”
