Supply chain automation specialists Dematic has opened the Dematic Solutions Centre - what it describes as North America's first integrated warehouse automation showcase - at its US headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Solutions Center combines intelligent software, robotics and automation together in a fully connected fulfilment environment, providing visitors with the opportunity to experience warehouse automation in action and explore the future of supply chains.

Dematic says the centre demonstrates how real-world integrated solutions work together, with real-world automation, robotics, software, and lifecycle services operating in one connected environment. 

Dematic adds that the centre shows how these integrated technologies “build more agile, resilient, and scalable supply chain operations”.

Visitors to the Dematic Solutions Centre will be able to watch live demonstrations of end-to-end workflows featuring autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), goods-to-person systems, robotic piece picking, palletising systems, and warehouse management software.

The recent opening of the Dematic Solutions Centre was attended by customers, partners, staff, community leaders and industry guests.
