Smarter warehouse design
At LogiMAT, Irish manufacturer Combilift will showcase its innovative material handling solutions while placing warehouse design and space optimisation at the centre, demonstrating how the right equipment combined with smart layout planning can greatly increase storage capacity while improving operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
With warehouse space and land costs at a premium, making better use of existing facilities has become essential for many businesses.
Warehouse optimisation
Maximise Space without Expanding
Combilift will highlight its expertise in warehouse and yard optimisation at LogiMAT, where its dedicated in-house team of design engineers and layout consultants will demonstrate how existing facilities can be optimised around the capabilities of its multidirectional and articulated forklifts, straddle carriers, and other specialised handling solutions to increase storage capacity, improve workflow, and enhance operational safety.
Through Combilift’s free, no-obligation warehouse and yard optimisation service, visitors will see that by reducing aisle widths and utilising vertical space, companies can achieve significant capacity gains - in some cases even doubling available storage.

Combilift’s CEO and Co-Founder, Martin McVicar, explains:
“We have always seen Combilift as much more than a designer and manufacturer of forklifts and other material handling solutions. Space is one of the most valuable assets our customers possess, and if our trucks can make it work better for them in terms of storage density, then everyone benefits. The ongoing demand for warehouse space coupled with ever-rising business costs means that space optimisation is now more important than ever.”
Visitors will also see how these design principles translate into real-world performance through live demonstrations alongside a display of Combilift’s latest material handling solutions.
Aisle Master
Live Demonstrations: The Warehousing Range
A key highlight of the stand will be the live demo area, where visitors can see Combilift’s warehousing range in action, operating in narrow-aisles.
The Aisle Master articulated forklift range is engineered to operate safely in aisles as narrow as 1.6 m, with lift heights of up to 15 m. Their versatility allows them to operate indoors or outdoors and on any floor surface, eliminating the need for separate reach and counterbalance trucks while maximising storage density.
Also on display will be Combilift’s electric pedestrian range, offering compact, highly manoeuvrable solutions designed to enhance operator safety and efficiency in confined areas.
Combi-WR4
This range features Combilift’s unique, patented multi-position tiller arm, which allows the operator to stand at the side of the unit rather than behind it. This position provides excellent visibility of even the bulkiest loads and their surroundings, eliminates crush risk when working in tight spaces, and helps prevent product damage.

Multidirectional Forklifts for Long Loads
Another focal point at LogiMAT will be Combilift’s multidirectional forklift range, including the C-Series and Combi-CB, designed for handling long and bulky loads safely in confined spaces, both indoors and outdoors.

Particular attention will be on the award-winning Combi-CB70E, the most compact 7-tonne capacity counterbalance forklift on the market and winner of both the Red Dot and UKWHA Archies awards.

This multidirectional electric model combines zero-emission operation with the ability to manoeuvre long, bulky loads safely in tight aisles, demonstrating how electrification can deliver high performance while supporting sustainability goals.
Martin McVicar added:
“Sustainability is at our core — we’re highly focused on making our vehicles more environmentally friendly while helping customers maximise their warehouse efficiency and get more from their existing space.
“Almost every model in our extensive range of products is now available with electric power. The ever-increasing lift capacities will answer the demand for more powerful products, which at the same time help companies to achieve their aims for more sustainable operations.”
With a strong focus on greener technologies, 98% of Combilift’s R&D investment is dedicated to energy-efficient and electric equipment, which now accounts for over 70% of production.

Beyond manufacturing: smart fleet data
Combilift will also showcase Combi-Connect, its cloud-based telematics system, which provides real-time insights into truck performance, utilisation, and operator behaviour — helping customers improve safety, reduce downtime, and optimise fleet management.
