The upcoming CeMAT Russia will introduce a one-day forum featuring expert presentations on the strategic challenges and technical systems in the Russian logistics market.
Russian and German experts will present practical examples at the forum and illustrate how Russian factories can be integrated into the global supply chain network. They will focus mainly on technical challenges and also present solutions for managing Russian intralogistics projects.
Dr Josef Baumer, factory manager of Volkswagen Group Russia, will discuss the implementation of material flow systems in automobile manufacturing. Uwe Leuschner, general manager of ZAO Schenker Russia, will address logistics network creation in Russia while the various requirements for technical logistics in the Russian market will be covered by Michael Pötschke, managing director of Arvato.
Roman Platonov, head of supply chain logistics Russia for ZAO BASF, will present on the integration of a Russian factory into the global supply chain network. Ludmila Kovalenko, director of sales logistics for Rostselmash, will address how stock levels can be optimised using flexible technical logistics systems.
Participation in the forums is free of charge for CeMAT RUSSIA visitors. The presentations will also be made available for download on forum organiser German Logistics Association (BVL)'s homepage after the event.
Held for the second time since the inaugural show in 2010, CeMAT Russia organiser Deutsche Messe expects over 120 exhibitors to showcase their supply chain-optimising solutions from 27-30 September at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow.
