Wisconsin-based materials handling solutions and equipment dealer Wolter, has acquired Delta Materials Handling as part of its strategic growth plans.
Delta, which has been operating for more than 65 years, serves customers in the US Mid-South markets of Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee; Tupelo, Mississippi; and Jonesboro, Arkansas areas.
It is one of the longest-standing Clark dealers and also carries the Bobcat, Linde, Bendi, Drexel and Princeton ranges of materials handling equipment.
Jerry Weidmann, CEO of Wolter, says: “Delta is a natural fit as we continue to grow. Their team, reputation and commitment to customers align closely with Wolter.”

EastPenn Manufacturing named in Times Magazine list
Pennsylvania equipment producer East Penn Manufacturing, has been named on TIME magazine’s America's Best Private Companies 2026 list.
Presented in collaboration with Statista, the annual ranking recognises the top private companies in the US based on employee satisfaction and company impact.
East Penn ranked 18th among 500 private companies nationwide selected for inclusion on the TIME’s list.
East Penn says the recognition of the private, family-owned company exemplifies its commitment to serving customers, employees and communities through strategic investment.
The rankings are based on an independent evaluation which includes employee survey responses from approximately 217,000 US workers collected over a three-year period. The assessment also considers each company's societal impact through research conducted in partnership with The Upright Project, which evaluates contributions across society, knowledge, health, and the environment.

Troax group opens Tennessee manufacturing site

Swedish-founded provider of industrial safety solutions Troax Group, has started production at its new 300,000 sqft. (27,7870 sqm) manufacturing site in Portland, Tennessee, marking the finalisation of a merger between the company’s two North American brands - Troax and Folding Guard.
The opening of the site marks a key step in the Troax Group’s North American growth strategy and will see production of the company’s full range undertaken.
“We have great confidence in the US market and see significant opportunities to grow our market share,” states Mikael Carlsson, interim regional president Americas for Troax.
“Relocating our production from the Chicago area to Greater Nashville is also part of a broader unification and automation of our North American operations, so that we can better serve our customers.”
Production capacity is significantly expanded at the new site, which has been built with incorporated automation and utilises best practice from across the group’s manufacturing network, Troax states.
