Attachment company Abbey announces partnership with DurwenDurwen names UK distributor

Abbey Attachments has been named as the UK supplier of Durwen Forklift Attachments under a new agreement between the two.
The agreement sees Abbey become the UK supplier for both sales and hire of the Durwen range and, Abbey states, marks an important step in its continued expansion within the materials handling industry.
Abbey supplies used forklift attachments and has expanded to include solutions such as AI pedestrian detection systems, forklift safety cameras, and hydraulic weighing technology.
Durwen Maschinenbau was founded in Germany in 1947 and specialises in hydraulic forklift attachments.
Abbey began stocking the Durwen range in 2025.
Abbey managing director Paul Saunders says: “I have greatly admired Durwen for both the quality of their attachments and the exceptional service they offer. When we realised there was an opportunity to partner with Durwen and become their distributor in the UK, we jumped at the chance.”
Durwen’s export director Ralf Taubenheim adds: “We at Durwen Germany look forward to working closely with Abbey. They will be a strong partner whose service and support, combined with the Durwen attachment range, will create a high-quality offering for the UK market.”

Hawker names Dealers of Excellence winners
US materials handling equipment power solutions provider Hawker has released the 2026 winners of its Dealer of Excellence Program.
The Tennessee-based motive power provider explains its Dealer of Excellence Program looks at key performance metrics and Hawker dealers who have achieved outstanding results in the areas of sustainable solutions sales, driving positive customer experience through delivering exceptional service, and financial stability.

Santana Equipment Trading rebrands after split

PHX Forklift marks a business re-brand
Phoenix-based Santana Equipment West Division has re-branded to PHX Forklift after splitting from Santana Equipment Trading Company.
Santana Equipment Trading Company was founded in 1999 by Eric Davidson, who served as president until the sale of the Chicago branch in 2024. He remains a co-owner and partner of PHX Forklift.
The West Division was established in 2012 as a satellite location before expanding its market reach across the Southwest, West Coast, and Mexico.
